Gear UK may from time to time carry out product offers. These ‘offers’ cannot be used in conjunction with, or grouped with, any other Gear UK offer or discount.
Coupon offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers including student college orders. To apply a code, simply go to basket and enter in the code in the box indicated and then click 'Add Code'. The discount will then be applied to the qualifying products.
Price and Availability:
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If the order is cancelled and you have already paid for the order you will receive a full refund for the amount paid.

We take security very seriously at Gear UK - That's why any transactions you make over our web site are instantly encrypted, providing security for all of your personal information (Name, Address, Credit/Debit Card Details, etc.).
How do you know that gear-uk.com is a 'Secure Site'? Look at the bottom right-hand side of your computer screen when you are making a purchase, you'll see a small yellow padlock in a small box, this tells you that this site is secure. When you see the padlock symbol, Double-click it to view the full validity of the Secure Certificate. –
Conditions of Delivery
Goods will normally be delivered within 5-10 working days. However if goods are out of stock for more than seven days we will endeavour to contact you with an estimated delivery date. We are normally able to despatch embroidered clothing within one week. UK delivery is charged at £5.95 per order (Channel Isles £6.50 for up to 4 items & £25.00 for 5 to 8 items, 9 items or more TBA) A next day delivery service is available at a cost of £7.50 on your order. If you require next day delivery please specify on your order. Customers from outside the UK will be charged at the most economical international rate.
Gear UK reserves the right to deliver the goods in reasonable instalments, in which case you shall accept and pay for the goods in reasonable instalments. Each instalment is to be treated as a separate contract.
Any claim for non-delivery of, or damage to, the goods in transit should be made in writing within seven days of the goods invoice date. Our liability in respect of any such claim is limited at our option to replacement of goods or refund of the price and does not extend to any indirect or consequential loss.
If you are ordering from abroad please call 0116 284 7020 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to get a quote for shipping. All shipping is quoted at cost and we will be able to give you an accurate delivery date on your order.

All prices quoted are correct at time of going to press, due to circumstances beyond our control these may change, including rate of Value Added Tax. The price levied will be confirmed at the time of ordering.
Incorrect/Faulty goods must be returned to us before replacements will be dispatched.
We strive to keep the majority of the products listed on our web site in stock at all times. Occasionally some items are out of stock. If you order an item that is out of stock this will be advised at the time of ordering as our stock control is linked with the website, we will however contact you and advise you when the item is due back in or of any comparable product that is available. If you do not wish another product or don't want to wait, we will cancel your order and refund in full.
Refunds will be made in the original payment method and within 14 days of our receipt of goods. All refunds must be authorized by our staff. If you wish to return your goods for a refund or exchange call 0116 284 7020 or e-mail us at email@example.com for a Returns Form. P&P and returns postage are direct costs and we regret that they cannot be refunded.
All customer information will be treated under the terms of the Data Protection Act. We will not pass on your details to other companies. We may identify and inform you of other products and services offered by Gear UK which would be of interest to you. You must tell us if you do not wish us to do so.

The prices quoted are those ruling at the time of production. Due to circumstances beyond our control prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations to the rate of value added tax. The correct price will be shown on your online order. If for this, or any other reason, an item is not acceptable, it may be returned providing it is sent back within 7 days and is in new condition and still with the original packaging . Certain products cannot be returned – see exchanges and refunds section
Gear UK endeavour to keep product information as up to date as possible. However, specifications are liable to change without notice. Product photographs are intended to illustrate the particular model but may, occasionally, not totally reflect the product as sold. Unless specifically stated, shoes, jewellery and other accessories shown on photographs are not included - please call for further details on any particular product.
The terms of the contract do not affect your statutory rights.
We are confident that you will be happy with your purchases from Gear UK. However, if for any reason you wish to exchange or return an item please do so within 7 days. Refunds are not offered on Sale goods but you may exchange or receive a credit note. P&P and returns postage are direct costs and we regret that they cannot be refunded. When exchanging or returning garments please telephone us on 0116 284 7020 for a Returns Form, which should be completed and sent to us with the returned goods. It is our normal practise to include a returns form on the back of the delivery note.
All stock styles will normally be despatched within 48 hours of receipt of order. Unless other arrangements have been made goods will be paid for at the time of order. In the event of non payment or late payment Gear UK reserve the right to suspend any further deliveries and charge interest on the unpaid amount at a rate of 4% above Lloyds Bank base rate.
Risk and Ownership:
The risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address. Ownership of the goods remains with Gear UK until payment has been received in full for the goods and any other goods for which payment is also due.
Where we are unable to perform due to any circumstances beyond our control, we may suspend performance while those circumstances subsist and any agreed date or period for delivery shall be regarded as extended accordingly. If any period of suspension of deliveries lasts for more than six months, either party may cancel the contract by written notice without penalty.
- Please enclose a copy of the delivery note with your returned goods – goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
- Please follow the instructions on the “RETURNS FORM” and circle clearly either EXCHANGE (With size, colour, style you would like in replacement) or REFUND
- Any garment that has been embroidered or branded in any way is not returnable – badges are non refundable
- Your garments must be returned in the original packaging, unworn, unwashed and with the original labels and packaging or your Exchange/Refund will be refused and you will be liable for the carriage cost to return the garment to yourself.
- You are responsible for payment of the carriage to return any item. We strongly advise that you obtain proof of delivery along with a receipt from the post office (i.e. a signed for service) as Gear UK are not responsible for goods that your carrier fails to deliver.
- Sale items returned cannot be refunded. However we will issue a credit that can be used against a future purchase. Please note that all credits must be used against a purchase within 2 years after this time it will become invalid.
EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
Please check the delivery upon receipt and inform us of any discrepancies within 2 days. Refunds and exchanges will only be processed if the goods are returned within 14 days of receipt. Garments that have been embroidered, personalised or are non stock items will not be refunded or exchanged. All refund items will be refunded less the cost of postage on your order. If you wish to exchange an item please enclose a payment of £5.50 to cover delivery and admin costs.
Should you wish to cancel you order or part of your order or if you have placed the order accidentally – please ring 01162847020 within 5 hours of placing the order – a full refund will then be offered (*see exclusions below) – if your order has already been processed and dispatched then it will become your responsibility to return the goods at your expense and a full refund for the goods only will be made when they are received back into the warehouse
If you do not ring within the specified time to cancel and your order is a branded item (embroidery or college branding) or a badge and this item has been already made specially for you, you will not be able to cancel your order
Gear UK is totally committed to protecting the privacy of our site visitors and customers. The Gear-UK team members are customers themselves of other Internet sites and fully appreciate and respect the importance of privacy on the Internet. We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties except where it is part of providing a service to you - e.g. arranging for a product to be sent to you, carrying out credit and other security checks and for the purposes of customer research and profiling or where we have your express permission to do so.
We will not sell your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information or personal information to any third party without your permission, but we cannot be responsible or held liable for the actions of third party sites from which you may have linked or been directed to the Gear-UK website.
Communication & Marketing:
If you have made a purchase from our online store we may occasionally update you on our latest products, news and special offers via e-mail, post & telephone.
All Gear-UK customers have the option to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us and/or selected third parties. If you do not wish to continue to receive marketing from us and/or selected third parties you should opt-out by emailing us at email@example.com. Alternatively you can click on the "unsubscribe" link in any email communications which we might send you.

Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we reveal information. This proof of identity will take the form of your e-mail address and password submitted upon registration. You have the right to access the information which Gear-UK holds about you and your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act.
